Ignatius Solava Obituary
Solava, Ignatius J. "Jim" "Iggy", age 94, at rest July 12. Dear brother of the late Johanna "Jean" (late John) Vlk, the late Margaret "Marge" (late Joseph) Florek and the late Anna Solava. Fond uncle of John (Ellen) Vik, and Gregory, Karen, Martin (Noreen), Joseph (Kelly) and James (Theresa) Florek. Kind grand uncle of fourteen and great-grand uncle of eight. Also survived by many cousins and friends. Navy veteran of World War II. Lifelong resident of Chicago's "Back of the Yards" neighborhood. Visitation Friday, July 16, 10:00 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Michael the Archangel Church (West 48th St. and South Damen Ave.). Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to KUBINA-TYBOR DIRECTORS, 773-523-2191.
