I always thought of Ian as anintellectual and sensitive man. Occasionally He would come forth wirht very intelligent observations. I felt that he had a very loving side to his personality and that his family was always very strong because of him. I was very saddened when I learned of his passing. He was very kind to my daughters, Jennifer and Stephanie.

Since learning the news last night, I have been greatly saddened. Had I known of the memorial, I would have been there. Ian was one of the kindest men I have ever known, father to my niece's best friend, husband to my dear friend Rebecca who predeceased Ian. My heart goes out to Sean, their wonderful son, and Holly, one of the special young women of the world. I miss them all and send my love.
