Weinper, Howard B. beloved husband of Wallis (nee LaThomus), dear father of Bryan Weinper and Lauren (Gregg) Cummings, loving grandfather of Amanda Weinper, Julia Cummings, Paul Weinper and Jack Cummings, devoted son of Rose and the late Benjamin "Vic" Weinper, fond brother of Sandra (Herbert) Shapiro. Services Friday, 1 p.m., at The Piser Chapel, 5206 Broadway. Interment Westlawn. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to University of Chicago Cancer Research Foundation, 5841 S. I HAVE AN IMPORTANT APPOINTMENT AT THE EXACT TIME OF THE SERVICES, WHICH I AM ATTEMPTING TO CHANGE.ALTHOUGH HE WILL NOT ATTEND MY FUNERAL, I WILL DO MY BEST TO ATTEND HIS. It is Wednesday afternoon, the 3rd, and just an hour ago I learned of

Howard's passing. I just cannot

believe it. I have known your family for over twenty-five years and I feel like a friend has left us. All my dealings with Howard were the best and I reserve a very
