Myers, Howard H. "Pete" age 91, beloved husband of the late Blanche F. "Dolly" Myers (nee Fiscus), loving father of John (Kim) Myers, proud grandfather of Daniel Myers. Retired Captain with Trans World Airlines and longtime Air Show Pilot. Member of Experimental Aircraft Association and American Model Association. Memorial Visitation Thursday, 3 to 8 p.m., at Zimmerman & Sandeman Funeral Home, 5200 W. 95th St. Interment Washington, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the American Diabetes Association, would be appreciated. Info: 708-424-0340

I met Pete at Howell-New Lenox Airport when I was a 17 year old lineboy just learning to fly. When Pete spoke about aviation, people listened. I always got a kick out of watching Pete takeoff in his Cassutt and then do climbing barrel-rolls. Thanks Pete! May your joyous reunion with Dolly be blessed.

Mr. Pete Myers was a talented craftsman and an exceptional pilot. Under the word “Gentleman” in the dictionary, there would most assuredly be a photo of Pete Myers.
I have been blessed to have known him.

Mr. Myers was a great neighbor. Enjoyed many a conversation over the back fence. Loved to hear him laugh. He is where he always loved to be among the clouds! God Bless you Mr. Myers and your wonderful family.
