Karoll, Howard age 73, of Highland Park, devoted son of the late Herb and Sarah, loving and loved father of Julie (Dr. Michael) Schreiber and Albert (Sara), adored and proud grandpa of Eliana, Jordyn, Harry, Elan, Jonah and Leora, cherished brother of Diana Saunders of Pompano Beach, FL, dear step-brother of Brenda (Dr. Jack) Good, special uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many. Service Wednesday, 10 a.m., at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (one blk. N. of Lake Cook Road). Interment Westlawn Cemetery, Chicago. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Hebrew Theological College, 7135 N. Carpenter, Skokie, IL 60077. Albert and Julie: I was so shocked and saddened to hear the news about Howard. He died on the sixth anniverary of my mother's death (which seems like yesterday).
