Jacobson, Howard 79, beloved husband of Adele (nee Sherman), devoted father of James (Marie), Irving (Rhonda) Jacobson and Sara (Barry) Marks, loving grandfather of Jennie, Michael, Justin and Steven Jacobson, dear brother of Sherwin (Lenore) Jacobson and the late Gwen (the late David) Blum. Former owner of Adele's Grocery and Variety on Kimball by Roosevelt High School. Services Wednesday, 1 p.m., at The Piser Chapel, 9200 N. Skokie Blvd., Skokie. Interment I.O.B.S. Cemetery, Chicago. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Disease Assoc., 4709 Golf Rd., Suite 1015, Skokie, IL, 60076, would be appreciated. Condolences on the loss of your sweet, old hubby and dad. I will make every effort to see you tomorrow. Betcha the late great Betty D will be there to greet Howie on his arrival in heaven. By this time tomorrow, they'll probably be having a blast. Let's hope so anyway.
