Hilde Wolf Obituary

Dear Chuck, so sorry to hear of Hilde's
death. I have been calling her at "Self Help", but not able to talk to her . Finally, today somebody there told me she had passed on several months ago.
Was really sorry to here that, as she sounded so good and upbeat the last time we talked. Please extend our sympathy to the rest of your family.

Chuck, Susan and families...
We were so saddened to be informed of Hilde's death and our deepest sympathy is extended to you all! We were so thankful to have called her on her 87th birthday and had a nice visit. Richard even sang "Happy Birthday" to her in his always "on key" voice. We also had mailed a birthday card.
I flew to Chicago in March 2010 for the birthdays of our daughter Lynn & granddaughter Alexandria. After the kids got on the bus for school, Lynn drove me to the Self Help Home for a personal visit with Hilde. It was a fond memory to see that wonderful place where our dear friend was being cared for so well. In the gift shop there I purchased a special footed Kiddush cup...with Hebrew words on it which mean: "Here's Life". I keep it displayed beside the Menorah candelabra which Hilde & Lou bought for us when we were their guests at the Mt. Zion Deli.
We have so many memories of our dear friends Hilde & Lou. For me (Jacque) I was blessed to have Lou as my walking partner for 5 years!''
