Hettie Hummel-Annon Obituary

Hummel-Annon, Hettie (nee Pineo) 94, of Park Forest, IL and formerly of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Dolton, IL died December 14, 2013. She was born September 16, 1919 in Winnipeg, Canada. She proudly served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during WWII. She moved to Chicago in 1948 to marry her beloved late husband Bernie Hummel and happily became a US citizen in 1961. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed her membership at Lincolnshire and the PGA National in Florida and an active member of Living Creek Christian Church. She was the loving mother of David (Dorothy) and Paul (Lois) Hummel and Neila Peacock; grandmother of David Hummel, Jr. (Nicole), Jill Peacock, Shannon (Jeff) Wood and great-grandmother of Lily and David Hummel III, Nicole and Kyle Wood. She was later the beloved wife of the late Fred Annon. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
