Beloved husband of the late Sarah (nee Sutker), loving father of Miriam (Rabbi Jon) Bloomberg, devoted grandfather of Adina, Mordechai (Lisa) and Zehava Bloomberg, cherished uncle, great-uncle and great-great-uncle to many. Services Friday, 10 a.m., at Ner Tamid Ezra Habonim Congregation, 2754 W. Rosemont, Chicago, IL 60645. Interment Waldheim (gate 111). Memorials in his memory to City of Hope, 5215 Old Orchard Road, Suite 800, Skokie, IL 60077 or Ner Tamid Ezra Habonim Congregation would be appreciated. When I joined the morning minyan in dec 2002 after losng my beloved husband, Herschel always made a point of asking me how I was doing. His caring helped me over a very rough time. He was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.
