Was just talking about your mom and dad today with my dad haven't seen you guys in a long time miss those days when we were all kids hanging out hope you're all doing well

Herman you always made me laugh and you always had a smile. You loved your family and life. Larry Dean

Joy to you Herman. You lived life to the extreme and brought happiness and comfort to many people. I've found the many stories your sister Lala has told me about you growing up in Crystal City a source of wonder and inspiration. You will be missed by many people. May you rest in peace.

It is with a very heart that I write this note. Herman was a true inspiration to so many of us that knew him. He was the epitome of a true advocate for Migrant Seasonal Farmworkers. He will be missed!! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!

We are so very sorry for your loss. You are always in my thoughts. One memory always keeps coming to mind and its him and that orange cone he used for cheering. Back in HS running past him at a track or CC meets and have him yelling "KICK KICK KICK" over and over again at you. Of course I do not think there was a meet or any other athletic event that he did not miss. He was everyones biggest fan but most of all I think his families. He always had a smile and a hug for you. He will be greatly missed by everyone. God Bless you all.
