Rosenfeld, Herbert D. devoted husband of Sandy (Sudak) who passed out of his life ten years ago, loving brother of Gene (Ruth) Rosenfeld and Richard Rosenfeld, loving uncle of Paula Rosenfeld, Nancy (Howard) Clayman, Julie (Dan) Dillon, Malke (Mike) Casey, Jacob (Sebra) Rosenfeld, and Michael (Melinda) Rosenfeld, loving great uncle of Sivan Alush, Yael (Yuval Sokol) Alush, Maddie Huzenis, Rose Dillon and Tom Dillon, caring great-great uncle of Eliya Sokol and many nieces and nephews. Herb was, at one time, the youngest CPA in Illinois; the owner of Colonnade Construction Company, principal of Rosenfeld Brothers and Evanger, principal of Powell, Korff, Rosenfeld Construction Company and owner/operator of three indoor tennis courts in the North suburbs. Herb was a talented amateur photographer and writer. Many of his friends expressed deep sorrow when he was assailed by Alzheimer's disease and then blind-sided by a stroke in 2006 that removed his power of communication. He will be sorely missed.
