Zurek, Henry A. age 89, late of Hegewisch, beloved husband of the late Olga (nee Maravich), loving father of Jade (Neil) Mathisen, Roy and the late James Zurek, dearest brother of Helen (late Steve) Jablonski, late Edna (late Walter) Betczynski, late Jean (late Larry) Boho, and the late Edward Zurek, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Veteran of WWII. Retired employee of RR Donnelly Co. Member of St. Bronislava Holy Name Society and Senior Citizens. Visitation Friday, 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services Saturday, November 22, 2008, at 9:15 a.m. from the Elmwood Chapel, 11200 South Ewing Ave., Chicago, to St. Bronislava Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Cremation private. Please omit flowers. 773-731-2749.

To the family of Henry Zurek, I wish to express my deepest condolences on the loss of their father/brother/friend and that he will be in our prayers on this day. He will be missed by the many who knew him who will treasure his memory. May he rest easy in the knowledge of those he helped guide through their lives as an example to all. God Bless Him.
