Stern, Henry 94, our beloved "Mutti", beloved wife of the late Leopold Stern and Norbert Tannenbaum, loving mother of Helga (Sherwood) Benson and Mark (Renee) Stern, adored grandmother of Michael (Bonnie), Leon (Karyn), Laura and Rachel and great-grandmother of Jordan, Arielle, Julia, Naomi Jessica and Rebecca, dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Escaped from German Tyranny in 1939. Friend and confidant of many-a very kind and special person. Services Thursday, February 10th, at 11 a.m., at Congregation B'nai Jehoshua Beth Elohim, 901 Milwaukee Ave., Glenview, IL, 60025. Interment Rosemont Park Cemetery, Chicago. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Jewish Self Help Home, 901 W. Argyle, Chicago, IL, 60640.
