Dear Richie and family,
My prayers are with you. I have wonderful memories of Hank - both from my childhood when you all would visit the farm, and later in my life when I would travel through Chicago (on my way to where ever) and stay with your Dad. I remember Hank was always happy to see me and let me stay as long as I wanted. He would often pick me up from the L, take me out to dinner, and even drove me to the Amtrack station in downtown Chicago. He was easygoing, smiled all the time, always joking and happy.
My thoughts are with you.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you at this time. Always remember the good times. He was my favorite Uncle and he held a very special place in my heart. I really enjoyed my visits to his home in Berwyn. We had some wonderful times visiting, sitting outside talking for hours, eating ice cream and watching the ball games together. I also remember the many visits with him and his family to California.

To Richie and Family,
I have many memories of your father. When we were so young, and you would travel from Berwyn to Jasper Co. I remember Hank's smile and laugh and the sweet smell of his cigar or was it a pipe? Many years later when we would traveled to Berwyn we would visit with both your mother and father, they were so gracious in opening their home to our family. We sat and visited for hours. One occasion, Uncle Hank took us to a street carnival (we walked) and enjoyed watching Anthony (probably 3) ride the carosel. One of Uncle Hank's last visits to Jasper Co. was possibly June's or Alan's wedding. I remember how he laughed and joked and really was a part of the family. You were blessed with a wonderful father. It is sad to know he has left this world, but rewarding to know that he is now in the comfort of God's Care and reunited with your mother. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
