My husband, Brandon Isaacson, and I just heard the news and extend our condolences to the entire family. We fondly remember him from Passover Seders at Fred's home in Ann Arbor. He was a kind, warm, and friendly gentleman who enjoyed talking to my husband about his ENT residency at the University of Michigan.

In 1996 Joey was in my sixth grade class at Devonshire School. Besides being a wonderful student, you were a great kid. After school let out in June, Joey and a bunch of kids came to my house for a french toast cook off, girls vs boys. Joey, you brought your fry pan, and the boys won, hands down!! I remember your mother being very supportive and always kind and smiling. I continue to teach but now it is fourth grade at Jane Stenson.I offer my condolences on Dr. Hankin's death. My regards to all of you.
Sincerely,
Marcy Levinson

I would like to take this opportunity to convey my condolences to the family of a wonderful doctor and human being.
When I worked for Florsheim I would get him his shoes...he like Florsheim Shoes.
He delivered my son James on Halloween 26 years ago. He delivered my nephew Shawn 33 years ago, and my neice Andrea 30 years ago. He showed his patients compassion, and he stayed with me the whole night and into the next day until I delivered James at 8pm.
May he rest in peace.
