Helen Slaveski Obituary

SLAVESKI, HELEN T., (nee Kmecik), 96 - of Ocean City, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at the Ocean View Center in Ocean View. Born in and formerly of Philadelphia, she had lived in Ocean City since 1971. Mrs. Slaveski had worked for visiting Jersey Cape Homemakers & St. Augustine's Rectory in Ocean City as a Housekeeper. She was a member of St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Ocean City where she belonged to the Altar and Rosary Society and Legion of Mary. Surviving are: a daughter, Elaine M. Jamison and her husband Joseph of Palermo; two sons, Adolph Slaveski and his wife Joan of Philadelphia and Frederick Slaveski and his wife Carol of Neptune Beach, FL; daughter-in-law, Betty Slaveski of Ocean City; 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Adolph, son Michael and grandson Joseph. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Monday morning at 11 o'clock from St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, 13th Street at Wesley Avenue, Ocean City where friends may call from ten o'clock until the time of Mass. Burial will be private in Holy Sepluchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA. The family suggests those who desire send memorial contributions to the Michael W.
