Helen Sharpe Obituary

Sharpe, Helen L. born February 5, 1904 in Topeka Kansas, daughter of Bertha Mae and Abe Jacobson, passed away peacefully January 19, 2006 as the result of a stroke. She was married to Byron C. Sharpe, an attorney, who died in 1986 at the age of 85. She is succeeded by her sons Robert K. Sharpe, his wife Tina and Michael B. Sharpe, his wife Joan, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She spent many years as a hospital volunteer and loved to give costume parties, was an avid reader and traveled with her husband Byron all over the world. A camel ride was not one of her treasured memories. She collected antiques, loved shoes and the Chicago Bulls and would never ever eat rhubarb. She lived a long and full life and will be missed. A memorial will be held on what would have been her 102nd birthday, Sunday, February 5, promptly at 11:30 a.m. at the Memorial Park Cemetery on Skokie Boulevard, Skokie, IL.
