Del Rio, Helen F. (nee Ness), age 70, late of Chicago Heights and formerly of South Chicago, beloved wife of the late George E. Del Rio, loving mother of Diane Del Rio, Gayle (Vincent) De Bono, George W. Del Rio, Janet Del Rio and Lisa (Christopher) Kross, devoted grandmother of George, Sam, Brittany, Whitney, Selena, Vinnie Jae, Dakota and Mackenzie, dear sister of William "Buzzy" (Barbara) Ness, fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Graduate of Bowen High School, South Chicago Community Hospital School of Nursing and Ravenswood Hospital Anesthesia School. Helen was a avid bowler and will be missed by the bowling community. Visitation Wednesday, 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral service Thursday, September 19, 2002, at 8:45 a.m., from the Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave., Chicago, to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
