Helen was a classmate in high school at Chazy Central Rural School, Chazy, NY. She was a member of our graduating class of 1956. The class 50th year celebration is June 2006 and Helen was planning for that event. She was a valued classmate and will be missed. Our condolences as a class are extended to her family.

My Aunt Helen was one of the most interesting, thoughtful, caring people I've ever known. So many great memories of the two of us at family gatherings always come to mind when I think of her. It has been so nice to come here and see all of these people write so many nice things about her life. Thank you all very much.

To Dorothy and the other members of Helen's family: This is not an easy time, but know that as long as we hold good memories of someone who has passed away, a little bit of that person stays alive within us.

Helen was my friend and colleague for over 25 years. We worked together at ETA in Chicago and at OSHA in Arlington Heights. We went through the RIF at ETA and bounced back to work together at OSHA. God bless you Helen and my deepest sympathy to her family.

My deepest sympathies to Helen's family. She was a wonderful woman and I shall never forget her passion for genealogy. Helen and I and Ivyl went to Salt Lake City 2 years ago at Thanksgiving to do research and I am very grateful for that opportunity to get to share with her and to help her in her last illness. God bless your memories dear family.

When I came to work in grants for OSHA in 1989, Helen was there to show me the ropes. She was a confident, conscientious, and giving co-worker. I'll remember the many laughs and stories we shared with each other in the office and traveling. I'll always remember how she could handle the NY subways just like it was as easy as a farm road in Indiana. I certainly respected her intellect as well as her profound interests in diverse facets of life. I'll miss her.

I worked with Helen for many years at OSHA. Helen had a passion for genealogy that intrigued me, she always welcomed any questions on the subject.

She believed that if you did a kindness for her that she must in turn pass along a good deed to someone else.

I wish her peace, and extend my sympathy to her family
