Villafane, Hector J. age 61, late of the East Side. Beloved husband of Annie Villafane (nee Guth) for 38 years. Loving father of Carmen (Christopher) Huertas, Joni Marie (Andrew Salaz) Villafane and Raquel (Augustine) Reyes, devoted grandfather of Augustine Reyes Jr., Leah Lucia Reyes and Danielle Huertas, dear son of Carmen and the late Hector J. Villafane Sr., dearest brother of Alma (Raul) Colon, late Carlos Villafane and Ana M. Villafane, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews U.S. Army Veteran. Retired employee of the City of Chicago Dept. of Human Services. Graduate of The University of Michigan 1973 with a Masters Degree of M.S.W. Visitation Sunday, 1 to 9 p.m. Funeral services Monday, August 21, 2006 at 9:30 a.m. from the Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave., Chicago, to Church of the Annunciata. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Cemetery private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family preferred. 773-731-2749.
