Hansen, Harvey E. age 77, Marine Staff Sgt. Korean War Veteran. Beloved husband for 53 years of Shirley nee Fromm. Loving father of Richard and Mark (Cheryl) Hansen, grandfather of Richard and Daniel, fond brother of Richard (Jacquelin) Hansen, uncle of many nieces and nephews. Former co-owner of Hansen-Sterling Drum. Visitation Friday, 3 to 9 p.m. at Modell Funeral Home, 7710 S. Cass Ave. Darien, where a funeral service will be held Saturday, at 11 a.m. Interment Private. Those in my generation can't come close to doing the things men like Harvey accomplished... He is with his Savior now, no longer having to deal with the battles in this world. I will pray for God to keep His hand on Harveys family and give them comfort- the temporary separation from Harvey will be difficult for them, but I thank God He gave us a Savior who died so we may have eternal life.
