Wiesner Harry T. age 82, of Westville IN, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2008. Survived by his wife of 58 years Dorris (nee Evans); two children, Phillip (late Christy) Wiesner of Hammond and Deborah Hussey of Dyer, IN; three grandchildren, Eric, Emily and Sarah; one sister Betty (John) Ezzi of Palos Heights, IL; one brother Kenneth Wiesner of Country Club Hills, IL; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Alex and Emma Wiesner; brother Art Wiesner; three sisters, Mildred Alstate, Irene Clark, Rita Laczewski. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 7, 2008, 9:30 a.m. at the Kuiper Funeral Home, with Rev. Theodore Mens officiating. Burial St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Sunday from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd., (2 blocks south of Ridge Rd.), Highland, IN. Mr. Wiesner retired from Sears Roebuck in Calumet City, IL with 25 years of service. He was a veteran of the US Navy during WWII. Mr. Wiesner was an avid gardener and Detroit Tiger Baseball fan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his loving memory to a charity of your choice. 219-923-7800.
