Army Vet., retired Allstate Insurance Agent, beloved husband of Janice (nee Welzen), loving father of Kelly (Daniel) Speckman, Kristi Knafl-Malzone and Katrina Knafl, dear grandfather of Brittany, Bradley and Brooke Speckman, fond brother of Carol (Gerald) Schmutzler, son-in-law of Florence Malnar, also nieces and nephews. Funeral Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. from Modell Funeral Home, 7710 S. Cass Ave., Darien, to Our Lady of Peace Church. Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. I am so sorry for your loss. Harry was an incredible man and even though I was only able to have a few conversations with him, he has become such an inspiration to me. Harry will be very much missed. He was a wonderful friend. We shared a lot of laughs and good times throughout the years we have known him.
