Dear Mark, Judy and Family,

As I've often related, Hal was one of the most friendly and caring men I've ever met. He and Molly first came into our lives over thirty years ago, and they welcomed us with gusto and warmth. Our lives, over the years, have been richer for that. We admired Hal in his long, brave struggle with cancer, he never gave up and he never looked back. There was always a smile, a hand on the shoulder, and a sincere interest in how you and your family were doing. There was always a smile. We know that he is now at peace. Our sympathies and thoughts are with you all.

Hal was always gracious and responsive to requests. He will be sorely missed. I have known him for over 20 years through our business together and he always ended conversations "call me if I can help, my friend."

Dear Susie and Ira,

Paula and I were saddened by the loss of your father. He battled cancer for many years and now is at peace.

I recall playing golf with him and Ralph several years ago at Green Acres and vividly remember the two of them joking with each other throughout the round.

Paula will attend the service but I am sorry to say that I leave early tomorrow morning for a business trip to California.

You will both be in my thoughts and prayers.

Love,

Ed Golden
