Harold Carter Obituary

Harold G. Carter, 82, of Lenox Township, Ohio, a U.S. Army veteran who served in World War II, and a 30-year employee of True Temper Corp. who retired in 1980, passed away unexpectedly at the emergency room of Ashtabula County Medical Center on the afternoon of Thursday, April 6, 2000. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, April 9, 2000, 5 p.m. until time of a service of remembrance at 7 p.m., at Fleming Funeral Home, Inc., a Family Care Group affiliate, 49 West Jefferson Street, Jefferson, Ohio, officiated by the Rev. Fred Grimm of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Cremation will follow the service and burial of ashes will be at Oakdale Cemetery. Memorial contributions, for which envelopes are available and may be left at the funeral home, are appreciated to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 89 East Satin Street, Jefferson, OH 44047.
