Guy Bibbs Obituary

Dr. Bibbs, was referred to me by my classmate. I asked her who done her braces, because I liked the work and my daughter kept begging for them so I made an appointment and the rest was history!! Dr. Bibbs, did and awesome job! So I decided I wanted my braces done by Doctor Bibbs, and my daughter informed me he was no longer with us because she was trying to get her braces off we, were crushed. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family.

I'm currently searching for an Orthodontist for a friend. Decided to circle to Dr. Bibbs, received this update. Dr.Bibbs was the best. My deepest condolences to the family. Man! Gone too soon.

Dr. Lona, we send our sincere condolence to your family as we all grew up in the Southside of Peoria, IL. Found memories of 6th Street, 5th Street, State Park, Carver Center, Lincoln Grade School, Roosevelt Jr. High and Manual High School. Dr. Guy and the Thomas brothers were some of my childhood friends. His loss will surely be missed but never forgotten. May God rap His loving arms around during this time of bereavement.

Heartfelt condolences to Lona and family at this time of transition from our earthly presence.
Many memories from Roosevelt. and Manual H.S will live on; especially the memories made at Manual. Guy had special Aura about him that was welcoming . His leadership and artistic talents were developed in Mrs. Calkins art class as vice-president of the Art Club.;also his singing talents at Manual were expressed as a member of Manual's Choir . Guy, Mitchell Turner, Larry Burnette and Charles Perry formed the Chandeliers singing group. The Chandeliers -rendition of "My Girl" was equal or better than of the "Temptations"
Though Guy's physical presence won't be here these many memories and achievements will remain as one of Good people to come out of Peoria Manual Class of 66 was Dr. Guy L. Bibbs Sr.

I was saddened to hear Dr Bibbs passing - watching him grow up was a pleasure to see him become the successful man that he became was - he and we're such a beautiful and successful couple - God Bless the family at this time sending my Love

I remember seeing Guy at our Manual High School 50th class reunion. He was such a nice person. Bless his family.

I didn´t know Guy well but I admired what he accomplished with his life and his leadership in his profession. He will be truly missed peace and blessings to his family.
