Some days I can´t believe how long it´s been since I saw you... 12 years. You would love Adrian, Sloane and Anderson. Your granddaughter, in many pictures, looks so much like you. She even picked her first pair of glasses that are "Grandma Gussie" frames!

A wonderful aunt, who I think genuinely loved having her home filled with family and friends. One of my favorite memories from childhood is all my family's trips to Gus & Jerry's house each summer. I love her & miss her.

Wasn't she something! I was blessed to have Gussie as my neighbor for a couple of decades and more. Her intelligence and capacity for keeping events organized were apparent. She could briefly chronicle the activities of her family with more emphasis on the grandchildren and new greatgrandchildren and comment on the news of the day. I found the love and joy Gussie shared about her family uplifting and riviting. A special place in her inclusive heart was for Jerry. She never failed to communicate her respect and fondness. It's not often that folks refer to their spouses with such sincere appreciation. To all her family I extend my prayer:Stay aware that each of you were beloved to Gussie.

I am so sad to think of a world without Gussie in it. She was so proud of her family and always made me feel part of it. I am so blessed that I had the opportunity to know her.

To my neighbors, who spent alot of their lives next door to me. Your mother was like my own mother, always there, always teaching us to become good adults, & always comforting when we needed it, & always ready to scold us when we needed it. I will miss her, my deepest sympathy to you Bart, Jackie, Maida, & Lee. You were so lucky to have her for 94 years.

Mom, you lived 94 years, remarkable! I'm already waiting for your first phone call of the day :-). Not sure how I'll fill the days without planning which days of the week I'll be with you. I love you and miss you already. Maida
