Our condolences to the Streichhirsh Family and all that loved him. Greg's passing was a shock to all of us. Our hearts are all broken. He was always a daredevil, the cool, fun guy, the guy with the interesting stories, the quick wit, and the guy we all admired! He loved his family, his friends, the lake, reminiscing about the old days, collecting vintage toys, muscle cars, and having fun. Greg made an impact on all that knew him. He will be missed terribly! We are very sorry for your tremendous loss. You are all in our thoughts & prayers.

I’m heartbroken to hear of Greg’s passing. The world has lost a most remarkable guy. One of the smartest, most thoughtful, well-read, articulate, humble, funny and kind people I have ever met. My fondest memories growing up were spending time at Robinson with our Streichhirsh family. The year Greg was born I named my Christmas baby doll after him. My prayers are ascending for his entire family and all those who loved him. He will never be forgotten.

My Uncle Greg...what can you say, he was an "uncle" to many, but not just an uncle to me. Greg was an inspiration to me; to master my craft, a teacher, a friend, and my Godfather. A "Godfather" to the community, if you ask me! He would accept all. To edit a tune we all know, "he was quick with a joke, or to light up your smoke, it was Greg don't you see, we were coming to see, to forget about life for awhile". Rest well Uncle Greg, you will be missed!

I am very sorry to hear of Greg's death, I knew and worked with Greg for many years, mostly in the mid 70's to around the mid 90's when we lost touch. He was a good friend and a lot of fun to be around. I do wish that I had tried harder to reconnect. My condolences to the entire Streichhirsch Family.

I was so sad to hear this news about Greg. We went to grade school together and hung out in the old neighborhood as children and young teenagers. I always considered Greg one of my friends from childhood and was excited when we reconnected on Facebook to see how happy he was. He will be missed by many.
