Grant Nicholas Klufetos, of Hoffman Estates, passed away on August 13, 2022. He is survived by his children: Michael, Jeffrey (Silvana) Klufetos;Amanda (Brian) Moran;four grandchildren: Lucy, Chloe, Max and Mila; his dear siblings: Debb Christopoulos (Dr. Jon Jerke), Scott Bennett (Alisha) ;step-siblings Thomas Standard and Donna Merkle; and his loving nieces: Nicole Lindstedt, Rachel Yarborough, Allyson Bennett. He is preceded in death by his parents, Delores O. Tulfo and Nicholas J. Klufetos and his brother, Timothy N. Klufetos.

Born on October 23, 1953, Grant is remembered as a quiet man, having wit, intelligence and a well-spoken manner, which served him nicely in his success as manager of multiple stores, and in his sales career. He was a hero to his little brother, Tim and a role model to Scott. Grant possessed creative genius. He was offered a college scholarship in Architecture. He designed and built a variety of objects and continually had projects from a young age.

With his adventurous spirit, he fished for marlin and enjoyed biking, baseball and gymnastics.

He passed too young, yet will live eternally through his Orthodox Christian faith. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, from 8:30 - 10:00 AM; and Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Elmhurst, IL 60126.
