Gracia St. Pierre Obituary

Mrs. Gracia I. St. Pierre, 99, of Lawndale Ave., formerly of Maple Square, died at Franklin Regional Hospital on Sept. 4, 2006.

She was born in Franklin on July 27, 1907 the daughter of Frank and Isabelle (Vermette) Leger. Mrs. St. Pierre resided in Franklin most of her life. She attended St. Mary School and graduate from Franklin High School, Class of 1924. She was a member of the former Court Annie Nesmith of The Catholic Daughters. She was active with the UNH Extension Service in Boscawen. Mrs. St. Pierre was a communicant of St. Paul Church and was active in many church affairs. She was the widow of Ernest O. St. Pierre who died in 1981.

Family members include 3 sons: Robert E. St. Pierre of New Harbor, Maine; Frank J. St. Pierre of Lincoln, RI; and Leo St. Pierre of Franklin; 3 daughters: Pauline I. Beaupre of Biloxi, Miss.; Rose Marie C. Chandonnet and Alma T. Andrews, both of Franklin; 11 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a grandson, William F. Chandonnet and a sister, Pauline Keezer.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, Sept. 7th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Sept. 8th at 10 am in St. Paul Church. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
