Grace Auer Obituary

Dear Jane,
I'm so sad to hear just now, Feb. 09, 2014 about Grace's passing. I will never forget Grace as a friend, and as a boss at Cook County Hospital Library. She will always be forever in my heart, as she will in yours. My deepest sympathy is with you. Estela B. Escudero ([email protected])

As I began my holiday letter, I thought to googled your Mom. I am so sorry for your loss. When I think of Grace I think of the warmth she showed everyone around her. I can see her singing. I can see her smiling with her whole being at doctors needing help. I remember her love for and pride in her daughter.

I am so sorry to hear of Gracie's passing. We loved talking to her on our block, and she played the harp at my Girl Scout flying up ceremony- which was a treat for us. We send deepest sympathies for your loss. Jane McAtee and Sjostrom family.

Dear Jane, I was just thinking about your mom playing harp at Good Shepherd when we were children there. I also remember she was probably the first choir director I ever had. I still have the words to "Let All Things Now Living" memorized from choir!. She was such a postive, uplifting influence on us! My heartfelt sympathy to you Jane.
