We were blessed to live next door to Grandma Grace on Kilbourn. It was our first house, and she was such a wonderful neighbor and friend -- celebrating the birth of our kids, visiting over the fence and sharing her stories. I'd bring over our daughter, Maureen, and she'd tell me about her family from the pictures on the wall -- her close, treasured, loving family. She is dearly missed. Just wanted to let you all know our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow.

I have so many fond memories of Grandma Grace. From the stories Grandma Joy would tell about the two of them on Kilbourn Ave. to her visits to Wisconsin.

The poems she wrote were always special. My favorite was the one she wrote for Grandma Joy.

Grandma Grace was truly a wonderful lady. We were all blessed to have her as a part of our lives.

With love,

Frank & Peggy,

You have been loving and very caring to your mother. I know from all of our talks how much you loved her. Remember, the beauty of our faith is that we know that one day, you will be reunited with her. In the meantime, she will always be with you in your many precious memories of her. You will not loose her-because you will always remember her and share her stories with one another.

Please know that Roger & I are praying for your family. You guys have bonded together to get through so much this last year-and you will get through this as well-with the support of each other and with the help of God.

May God bless you all!!

with all of my love,

Dear Bogars,

We had a long talk about Grandma Grace last week on our ride home from your wonderful party. She was always so much fun to have around and a joy to visit with! We will miss her and we want you to know that we are thinking of you and will keep you in our prayers.

"Never go to Wrigley Field without taking a jacket!" Those were wise words from Grandma Grace that we still follow. What a great Cubs fan she was! (As well as Little League supporter too.)

Mrs. Anselmo was quite a lady - witty, creative, loving and generous of her time to others. She will be missed by her family but she is in a better place - playing cards with all her friends!! I used to call her "Gracie, old kid". She would laugh. It wasn't said disrespectfully and she loved it.
