I
didn't know too much about Mr.Asato, but I did know he was a good
person ready and willing to help other people. He was also strong in his beliefs. and his faith, so I know he is in a better place.

I am a friend of Sara, and I knew her since we were in kindegarden and I did remember her Father.I remember him by giving high 5's. He was a great friend. You will be blessed

I was thinking of Glenn today and just want you to know you are still in our thoughts and prayers as you make your way through without the wonderful man who was your husband & father. He will be missed in so many ways by so many people.

To the Asato family - I was acquainted with Glenn through the AIA/Eastern Illinois Chapter, and it was my great pleasure to know him. I am very sorry for your loss -we will all miss his input.

Our hearts are with Anne, Mark, and Sara for the loss of your beloved husband and father. We all have fond memories of Glenn -- as a committed Cub Scout leader, active school volunteer and PTA president, loyal community servant, and all-around good neighbor and friend. Glenn gave generously of his time and talent to the Village of Homewood, local arts and non-profit organizations, and countless other good causes. His spirit of giving was genuine and selfless and lives on through his many contributions. Glenn’s humble and gracious manner and positive outlook on life will continue to be a model for all of us to live well, laugh often, and love much.

We are so very sorry about your loss. Glenn was one of those special people you could never forget. He was always so personable, kind and cheerful. We will always cherish the good times our families shared. We are blessed to have known him, and are the better for it.

My family and I were deeply saddened to hear of Glenn's passing. My son Andrew played hockey with his son Mark and Glenn was the manager of the first team that Andrew ever played on. Glenn always had a smile on his face for the children and the parents. He seemed to know how to lift up the kids spirits whenever they were down after loosing a game. He also gave them the encouragement they needed. We were fortunate to have Andrew be with Glenn as a manager for quite a few years. We just saw Glenn in January. It was wonderful to see him. All of us had a chance to know Glenn and value having known him. He was a truly exceptional human being. We will all miss him very much. Our deepest sympathy to Glenn's family. Mr. Asato was one of the most positive and uplifting people I have ever met in my life. When he coached my brother, I saw their practices and he truly believed in FUN as being the key word to describe it. Aside from encouraging my brother and I to keep playing, he also taught him some good life lessons for the short time he coached my brother. Mr. Asato will be missed dearly by myself, my brother Justin, and especially by the rest of my family too. May he Rest in Peace.

We were deeply sadened by the death of Glenn. He was an inspiration to our son Brian. Glenn will be remembered for so many reasons and his smile is forever etched in our minds. God be with you Glenn...Jim Jayme Bridget and Brian Gannon

I only had Coach Asato for a season or two but he was one of the nicest guys I have ever met. Coach Asato was the one person who helped me keep my grades up so I could be on his team. He would always have a smile on his face when I would see him and that is what I am going to deeply miss about him.

Glenn will always be remembered as a very special person. My fondest memory of him is always saying hello and Hi-Fiving the kids he would meet. Girl Scouts won't be the same without him. He will be truely missed by so many.
