Ginger Witt Obituary

MIDLAND Ginger Davison Witt, 72, of Midland, went home peacefully to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 4, 2008, at her residence.

She was born on March 20, 1936, in Ballinger, Texas, to the late Cecil and the late Veda "Louise" Davison.

Ginger was raised and educated in Ballinger and Sweetwater, Texas, by her grandparents Neal and Garland Davison. She married Curtis Witt in February 28, 1986. She worked, as a sale representative for American Chicle for many years and later became a homemaker.

She was a member of Valley View Baptist Church.

Ginger leaves behind her loving husband of 22 years, Curtis Witt of Midland; son Bruce Neagle and wife, Lori, of Lafayette, La.; two daughters, Ludeana Roberts and husband, Larry, of Riesel, Texas, and Lara Thornton and husband, John, of Axttel, Texas; stepsons, Chuck Witt and wife, Carmen, and Dee Witt and wife, Kathy, all of Odessa; stepdaughter, Paula Williams and husband, Donnell, also all of Odessa; two aunts, Nelda Faesler and Wanda Jeter; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

Family will be receiving friends Monday, December 8, 2008, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2008, at 3 p.m. at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Chapel. Pastor Robert Frazier will officiate. Interment will follow to Resthaven Memorial Park.

Mr. Witt has requested that in lieu of flowers for his loving wife to be directed to Allison Cancer Center and Hospice of Midland.
