Dear Jeff,
We just found out about Gerri passing away. We are truly saddened beyond words. Your Mom was a wonderful person and had a zest for life that was greatly admired.
I was lucky to have had the pleasure of spending time with her whenever she visited my mother-in-law and she was so wonderful to our son Brad from the time he was born.
The last time I spoke with her. was about a year and 1/2 ago.
So many times we were going to call and go over in the last year and visit. But life comes at you so fast, the moment slipped away.
How sad for us not to have had more time with her.
Your Mom will be sorely missed by all.
Especially our family.
Love Sue, Bob and Brad Michaels

Auntie Gerry,
You, who were my godmother, have now gone to God.
We will miss you. Your strong personality--and opinions!
You were a protector--of your family and father-- and a protector of my family as well. I remember you letting mr pick out my first 45 record at the record shop and the good times we had in Chicago. You always had a laugh, but like the clowns you painted, you hid a certain sadness in your great heart of compassion. I pray my grandkids will be there like you were for their friends.
You were my mother's very best friend--from grade school--and I can only imagine how she must miss you. I miss you too--we all do!
From your loving god-daughter,
Patsy

Dear Auntie Gerry,
I remember you with great fondness as my mother's best friend. In Chicago and often visiting us in California. You were kind to us and a great-hearted woman of both compassion and laughter. You always had an opinion and a strong personality. You were a born protector. You were a gifted artist. You were a true friend to my mom throughout grade school and throughout her life.
You were my godmother, and I pray that my grandkids grow up to be as strong a protector as you were to my family and to yours as well. Your kindness to your father and to our family will not go unrewarded. Like cousin Carolyn said to me when I looked at Uncle Leonard in the coffin,
"He's not really there, you know."
We love you, Auntie Gerry!
Your god-daughter,
Patsy

Aunt Gerry, God Bless you for who you are, for all the wonderful memories you have given me, both as a child and as an adult. Always full of the best advice. The best of friends; the hardest worker; the best yard sale hunter ( with brother Jeff running a close 2nd); and the biggest clown collector on record. Thank you. May God comfort your family and loved ones and the best to your happiness wherever you may go from now. Love, Judy & Family

It is with great sorrow that we say farewell to my grandmother's very best friend. She inspired her to keep going when no one else could. Now it is her memory that encourage her family in this time of grief. Thank you, Aunt Gerry, for all you have done for our family.

Auntie Gerry,
I will miss you greatly--your openess, sense of humor, creativity, love of family, and ability to accept life on life's terms. You were truly an inspiration to me. I, too, am extremely grateful of the long friendship you had with my mom. You were sister, confidant, fierce friend, ally, and kept her going when she didn't think she could take another step forward. Surely the angels rejoiced in heaven when you arrived! Thank you for being here for our family all of these years. I love you very much! Kathy

You will always be remembered by all who knew and loved you. Although I knew we weren't related, You were always my Aunt Gerry. Mom (May Kelleher) always talked about your times that you both grew up together and were best friends. I send my condolenses to all the family and I also grieve with you in this saddened time. My prayers are with you.
