On behalf of myself and the State's Attorney's Office at Branch 50, I wish to extend our deepest condolences to the Winiecki family. Judge Winiecki was a kind-hearted individual who treated everyone fairly and never responded with anger. Although he always conducted his courtroom with decorum, it was a very comfortable place for everyone who worked or appeared here. Every once in a while he would share his excellent sense of humor with us. He will be missed by all of us.
