Jerry was born on June 18, 1944 in Watkins, to Edwin and Lucille Schutterle Driscoll. He graduated from Norway High School in 1962. Jerry served with the United States Army from 1965 to 1967 and was stationed in Vietnam for one year. Jerry was married to Diane Stallman and from that union two children were born, Jenny and Jeremy. He then married Cindy Milbrath Gardner and they shared 16 years together. Jerry worked for Iowa Manufacturing for over 40 years, rarely missing a day, and was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and the Norway American Legion.
Jerry was an avid runner who completed three marathons and a triathlon. He enjoyed bicycling, hunting and traveling with Cindy. Jerry always liked to keep busy and could be found doing outdoor projects at his home or helping others in need. Above all, Jerry loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was the best grandpa ever and his family will miss him dearly.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Catholic Church.

Met Jerry when I went to work at Iowa Manufacturing, Cedarrapids Inc, then it became Terex and wasn't long before another great place to work came to an end. Jerry and I remained friends, bicycling, snowmobiling, boating, hunting and a few beers and maybe a shot of whiskey. It was hard to see Jerry's health decline, but he always kept pushing on, always under the watchful eye of Cindy who kept him going. We will meet again, and shake the place up. RIP

Jerry could always make you laugh. We will never forget two of his favorite lines. Smoke 'em if you got 'em and nothing lasts forever. Rest in peace Jerry.

Jerry and I were classmates in the Norway Class of '62. We were on the cutting edge of getting into mischief. Jerry could act a little rough around the edges at times but was nothing but a Teddy Bear. I will miss our long telephone calls reminiscing about the "good old days". May Jerry be nestled in the palms of the power greater than ourselves!!!!
