Met Fr, George while traveling thru Midway airport. He was saying 30 minute, 3 minute homily Sunday Mass at one of the unused gates. ...before the Midway renovations. Halfway thru mass a flight came in and the passengers were surprised to encounter a Sermon and religious service. Did not bother Fr. George in the least. Later, after the formal chapel at Midway was, he continued his 30/ Masses.
He was an inspiration to me. ANd his sory about Padre Pio--and the services at the Chicago airports is amazing.

Love and Prayers
January 30, 2019
What a kind and loving man! I read his books, his newsletter and wrote him occasionally when
something he wrote really inspired me. Since he traveled so much I wrote asking for prayers for safe travel and how to overcome jet lag and he wrote back with prayers and suggestions.
I prayed for him everyday and will now pray for his soul, but don't we all know the Lord had His arms wide open welcoming him home.
My condolences to all who loved him,
Most sincerely,
