George Kotrba Obituary

Kotrba, George E., Sr. Age 92, WWII Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy M. nee Sarli; companion of Ruth Elzinga; dear Father of Linda S. Nicola and George E. Kotrba, Jr.; Grandfather of Jeffrey (Lucia) Nicola and Jolie (Matt) Fleming; Great Grandfather of Cole, Campbell, Neana, Casey and Alex; son of the late James E. and the late Anna nee Benes Kotrba; fond brother of Donald (Judy), the late Evelyn (late Hank) Sosnowski, late James (late Frances), late Richard (late Mary) and late Robert (Adrienne) Kotrba; also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. He was the Ultimate Patriot. He dedicated his life to benefit veterans at local and state levels. He served as Past Grand Chef of Illinois and Honorary First Division Commander of Cook County. In lieu of flowers, donations will benefit our blind veterans. Visitation Friday January 27, 2012, 2-9pm at Kosary Funeral Home 9837 S. Kedzie, Evergreen Park.
