Dear George,
I have known you for almost 8 years and in that time I really was able to see what a beautiful person you really are. I sit back now and think of all the awesome things we were able to experience together. It's wonderful to think that you were a such a big part of my life in so many ways, from being our best man in my wedding, to my first Sturgis trip, to the birth of both my children, all the way up to your own marriage. I just want to thank you for all those beautiful memories and let you know how truely missed you really are. It is still hard to believe that you are gone, it feels like you are not around because it's winter and we'll see you come summer time, but you won't be there and it will be difficult to deal with. I miss you and wish you were still here, but I know you are in a better place, free of pain. I will never forget you, you'll always be in my heart and mind forever.

Dear family and friends of Mr. K,
I just wanted to write a quick note to say how truly sorry I was to hear of Mr. K's passing. He was a great man and a great teacher. He was always there to lend a shoulder. It had been quite some time since I had seen him. However, he has always held a special place in my heart. He was not only a gifted and talented teacher but he was a great friend. He was a friend of my grandmother, Barb Owen who was a teacher's aide in the school district. She passed away some years back now but I know that the 2 of them were friends and she really enjoyed their friendship. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family and all of the many friends that Mr. K has left behind. He has left behind a legacy that so many will always remember. He'll never be forgotten for the great teacher and wonderful person that he was.
With sympathy,
Renee' Klementzos

My dear George,
You are and always will be the love of my life. I am so very thankful that God brought us together that warm July night, 7-1/2 years ago. We had many wonderful times together and shared so much of ourselves with each other. You were such a special man; loving, compassionate, dedicated, loyal, smart, funny and affectionate. Your love for your children was unconditional. You were always so kind to my kids. Your strength and beliefs never waivered. Your loyalty to your friends was incredible. Your brother and your family meant the world to you. Your commitment to your job and the students was never ending. You loved to tell people positive things about themselves so they would feel good about themselves. You made me feel beautiful and smart. And I thank God that I could be with you until you left this world. I love you now and always will. I know that you are in a peaceful, perfect place and that you are looking out for all of us as you did on earth. You will live on in my heart and my memories and I look forward to joining you someday when my time comes. Thank you my love for the love you gave me. Oh and thanks for opening my eyes regarding politics, I know longer have my head in the sand!
Your wife,
Renee'

~George Klementzos~
Mr. K,
I know you are not here to read this, I guess this is just my way to try an let go and say goodbye to one of the most special teachers I ever had. I always looked up and admired you, and I always will. You were one of those teachers that made a special impact on my life that I have carried with me ever since.
I was privileged to be one of your first students at West View in 7th grade for science back in the 80's. At first, I have to admit I was kind of scared. Ha ha ha! You always treated me so loving. When I was having personal problems, you helped me thru them. Even when you were having a bad day, I would try and cheer you up, too. You were so hard on the outside and such a soft teddy bear on the inside. And we cannot forget that comedian side of you! Remember when Scott fell asleep at his desk and you took the yardstick to the garbage can? :-)
You were like an additional father figure to me during that wonderful middle school time of my life. I think I admired you so as you were the mirror image of my own father whom I love and adore so much. You two even enjoyed some of the same hobbies! You and I always had much to talk about.
I never got the chance to thank you for any of it. Years later, you were there for my brother... and then you were my son's dean! You helped Josh thru a time in his life where I didn't know what to do. Again, you were there for me. I never got the chance to thank you for that either. Nor did my son, Josh. He is also very saddened by your departure and will miss you.
The funeral service was so beautiful and peaceful. I am a Roman Catholic and was just in awe of your beautiful church and service. I didn't know anyone there but you. But that was okay, you were why I was there. It was so cold standing outside, but thinking of the memories of you made me warm inside.
Mr. George Klementzos... I love you and will miss you very very much. May you finally get yourself some well deserved rest without the pain and suffering. I promise that I will see you again in the future. At that time, we can sit down and talk about old times.
Love for always and forever,
Rachel Klementzos

My dad always worked hard for what he wanted and never gave up until he reached his goals. He always had a big heart and was willing to do anything in his power to help someone out. Over the past 19 years he tought me some things that I am now very greatful for knowing. He basically made me into the person I am today. He wasn't just the one I looked up to the most... he was also my hero, my idol, my best friend, and the best part my dad. May you finally be free of all your pain and suffering. I love you dearly and you'll always be in my heart.

I am a bus driver, and every day that he could, Mr. K would stop traffic for all the buses to get out without delay. I also have a son who thought the world of Mr. K. and who has since graduated from Romeoville High. Thanks for all you did.

Mr. K was a great teacher! And 7th grade social studies was the only and still is the only social studies class I looked forward to going to. If it wasn't for him it would of been just another boring class. His class was great! I loved his stories about his kids and his bikes, he was a great guy.

Mr.K was one of the best teachers I have ever had. I always looked forward to his class. He would always start off the class with some funny story about his kids or something about his bike. He was a great teacher and a even greater person. He cared so muchfor each of his students and he will never be forgotten.

George "Lykos"
I will always remember the times that we shared together. You were such an inspiration to me. It did not matter what we talked about, Harley's, Work or Politics you always had the knowledge and the time for me. I would not be an American Knight without your help and Guidance, and for that I want to say Thank You. And as you told George Stamos and myself on Tuesday "I will see you on the other side".

Mr. K-
There are NO words to hit on the point of what a profound impact you had on me. You are my inspiration to be a better person and to never give up. You believed in me when not many did. You are the sole reason why I want to teach. If I could do only half of what you accomplished, then I will consider myself successful.
You're in a better place. I hope I can make you proud one day. Your spirit will NEVER be forgotten.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything that you have done for me, without even knowing at all.
