I remember riding my bike to Oakton Park to shoot buckets and I would pass by the Ireland house. I admired & respected him and was so excited with the "63 team. My expression of sorrow to his family and his daughter Kathy (my St. Peter's classmate)

Coach taught me a great deal while I was his assistant and trainer from Sept ember 1973 to July 1977. He taught me about the apprprpriate way to use the "University's money."
He also gave me a good deal of resresponsibility by assigning the research of an ice hockey program then the administration of that program. I can never thank him enough for those lessons that I still use today.
I t was great to see him at the final game at Alumni Gym. His personal invitation is truly cherished.
Thanks, Voach.
