Campbell, George L. age 88, U.S. Army Veteran WWII. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Berner), loving father of Leigh Campbell and Nancy (Patrick) Conklin, proud grandfather of Ashley and Sean Conklin, loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday, 2 to 8 p.m., at The Brady-Gill Funeral Home, 16600 S. Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park. Lying in state Thursday, 10 to 11 a.m., at Zion Lutheran Church, 171st & 69th Ave., Tinley Park. Services 11 a.m. Interment Zion Lutheran Cemetery. George served part of his Army Career stationed at Hyde Park, N.Y. as part of President Roosevelts Presidential Guard. Member of Stockyards Kiwanis. Prior owner of Southwest Chicago Publishing Co.
