George Bocchiere Obituary


Bocchiere, George E. age 80, of Riverside, U.S. Army Korean War Veteran, beloved husband of the late Patricia (nee Galinski), loving father of Michael, Susan (Joseph) Pritasil, and Robert, cherished grandfather of Robert Jr., dear brother of the late Pat (late Frank) Zych, the late Joseph (late Bernice) Esczuk, and the late Ann (late Edward) Micek and fond uncle, great-uncle and dear friend to many. George was a retired Sears employee, a member of the Polish Legion of American Veterans, Riverside Golden Agers, St. Mary Church, Brookfield Zoo and a volunteer at the Ames School library. Funeral Monday, August 9, 9:30 a.m. prayers at Kuratko-Nosek Funeral Home, 2447 S. DesPlaines Ave., North Riverside to St. Mary Church, Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Memorials to American Heart Association or American Cancer Society would be appreciated. Visitation Sunday, 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Info: 708-447-2500 or www.kuratko-nosek.com

I knew George from the days at Ceco and Sears. I used his talents as a Industrial engineer at Ceco and probably bought a few things from him at Sears Cermak plaza. He was a great guy.
