Dear June, What a wonderful man you married and what an amazing story of how you landed him--or was it visa versa. There is no doubt you 2 were meant to be. All your adventures in Sun Valley, U. P. farm, (giving Buddy his ice cream cone on the journey up there) Lake Marie--you 2 lived 2 lifetimes of memories. That does not make it any easier for you. It breaks our hearts that you are facing your own health problems. Jay and I have loved every moment we have enjoyed with you and George. You are loved by so many--and particularly Margie. Dear June & Family,
I'm so sorry to hear of George's passing. I am happy, though, that he seemed to be one of those who lived life to the fullest.
As a kid, I always looked forward to George's summer visits with the guys! He was friendly and fun to be around. Those are happy memories.
My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Throughout my career in medical sales, I never met or worked with any person more ethical, generous (not to mention fun loving) than George.
To me, he will always remain a legend in the medical industry.
My condolences to June, Barbara and Peter.

Our condolences to June and family. Al started work at ElectroMetal in 1970 and we have fond memories of George including the many Christmas parties held at your home, his Christmas ties and big smile. I still have the party favors you gave at these dinners, bringing them out each Christmas and knowing where they came from. Just wanted you to know how he touched our lives. We're sure he will be missed greatly.

June, Barbara, Mat, Maureen and Peter,
When the front door of our office opened and I heard your voices Mrs. Block and that of Mr.Block, I just knew that we were all in for a special treat that day! As Mr.Block made his rounds thru the plant and office, Barbara and I could hardly wait to compare notes at the end of the day as Mr. Block shared with us stories of his recent travels and how much he loved and enjoyed his wonderful family, grandchildren and their achievements. Mr.Block was a beautiful person and a joy to work with and for. Barbara and I wish to express our condolences and may the Peace of Our Lord be with you all at this difficult time. We will all miss him greatly !

To All The Family,
Mr.Block was a Wonderful,Kind,Loving man. Having worked for him,he would always stop by your desk and ask, "How are you?" "How's your day going?" and he would throw a joke in after. I feel so blessed to have known and worked for such a caring person. He will truly be missed! May you all find strength in the love of family and friends and may God watch over each and everyone of you at this difficult time. May his memory be eternal!

"You work hard, you can play hard" Infamous words from my Uncle George. My Grandmother Bernice's brother, the man who I considered another Grandfather. Whether it was very fast boating at Lake Marie or fishing and swimming at "the Farm" or playing tennis , or shooting pool at Murphy Lake it was always an incredible experience and he was an incredible man. I am happy to say he is again with my grandmother who I am sure gave him a "HIYA Brother!" as she always did. As I reflect on this wonderful man this weekend, I will remember him as a true loving, caring, influential person in my life whom i had the utmost respect for. Its the end of a wonderful era, but the influence that he gave out will live on in all of us.. We will always have a piece of him inside us...

I'll never forget the stories that George told me about getting started in his Father's garage, or our traveling to Sun Valley for meetings, or Bermuda, or Florida. Mr. Block was an extremely generous man, and, very much down to Earth. He made everyone around him feel very comfortable. It is no coincidence that so many have been with this man for so long.

Dearest Aunt June, Barbara and Peter:
It would be hard to pick just one memory of Uncle George, because there are so many! He used to call me Bethie and in 56 years, I think he's the ONLY one who's ever called me that (except maybe Aunt June)! By far one of my fondest memories would have to be going to the farm and seeing the twinkle in his eye because he loved it (and the deer) so much. What a great man - we'll miss his gentle spirit.
With loving thoughts,
Beth (Goodwin) Smithem

To all the Block Family,
Mr Block was truly one of a kind. He was the kindest man with the best sense of humor. It was always a joy to see him in his colorful ties and riding his motorized car honking the horn. It was an honor to have known and worked for him. We are all blessed to have had him in our lives and his memory will continue to live on in all of our hearts.
God Bless you all.

Our heartfelt condolences to June and the families of Peter and Barb. I found this old photo of you guys that reminds me of the man Uncle George was. Always upbeat and tons of fun. He had a positive impact on all he met. Even to my own children, he was know as Uncle George. He entertained us all with his banjo playing, scarry rides in the 14 foot Invader at Lake Marie, hunting at the farm, and ski stories. When I last talked to him, he was reliving a ski trip to Innsbruck as thoug he just returned. No one missed a chance to visit with Uncle George. To us, our time together is his legacy. We pray for him on his journey as the seeds he has planted continue on. We will miss you, Uncle George.
