David and Brooke--I was truly saddened to learn of your Dad's death. He was one of my favorite people in Riverside--and I know will be missed by many! I missed seeing him over the 4th of July when I last visited town. We always had great chats about our kids and he always took immense pride in both of you. You have my deepest sympathy.

So sorry to hear of your loss. George was a great guy who always had a smile on his face and made everyone else smile too. He never missed an opportunity to talk with you and ask about "the family". May he rest with the Lord.

To George's family,
At this difficult time it is hard to find the words to offer you to make you feel better. But let me just say, George was a generous, devoted and kind man, expecially when it came to his relationship with my uncle, and his dear friend Paul Hojdik. George's friendship with Paul was extraordinary. As Paul's health declined, he was at his becon call, morning, noon and night, no matter what the request was. Friendship like that is rare. And now, once again, they are together. Probably watching the Bears & Packers game and they probably placed a few bets before the game. Please know that you Dad was a one-in-a-million, he will be missed and that he is in a better place.
