Geneva Garofolo Obituary

Geneva Lavonne Garofolo, born Oct. 13, 1946 to Hubert and Geneva Porter in Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away March 24, 2008 following her courageous battle with cancer. Geneva was a loving, caring mother and is survived by her sons, Garrett (Debby), Barry, Bryan (Christine), and Robert; sister Daina Sornson and brothers, John (Jodi) Porter and Owen (Debbie) Porter. Geneva also leaves behind, her loving caregiver and daughter-in-law Kimberly. Geneva was a treasured grandmother to Brittany, Michael, Nicholas, Noel, Foster, Olivia, and Jack. She was preceded in death by her infant brother, David Porter. Geneva was employed by Nordstrom Department Store, was an avid golfer and loved the outdoors. She leaves behind many dear friends in Arizona and Illinois. Services will be held at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale, Thursday 8 PM with visitation from 4-9 PM.
