Gary Wilson Obituary

Of Jamaica Plain, MA (formerly of Longmeadow, MA, and of California), Feb 27th, 2003. Beloved husband of Camilla Wilson and loving father of Dawn (Wilson) Fisher and Heather (Wilson) Martucci. Gary Wilson was one of the founding members of the Greater Boston Interfaith Organization (GBIO). He was a Christian Science Practitioner, computer consultant, writer and Vietnam Veteran. Gary was a strong community leader, tireless activist and volunteer in interfaith activities, education, affordable housing, and neighborhood cleanup and beautification. His other passions were technology, music, dancing, trumpet playing, economics, politics, home renovation, the Big Dig and collecting Rodecker dragons. His spirit lives on in our memories as he has helped so many people in so many ways. Memorial Service will be held Sunday, March 9th, 2003 at 3:30 PM in the First Parish in Brookline, 382 Walnut St (617) 566-1933.
