News Death Notice
FAGER, Jr., Frederick W. 54, of Springfield passed away August 15, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. He was born November 30, 1960, in Springfield, the son of the late Frederick W. Fager, Sr. and Martha (Teets) Bostick. Fred worked for FedEx Freight as a truck driver for 15 years. He is survived by his wife Dianna L. (Howard) Fager; three sons Fred and Ezekiel Fager and Jim Hall; two daughters Monica Flora and Tasha Patterson; a brother Don Bostick; a sister Almeda Bariteau; six grandchildren; special longtime friends Mike McKeever, Larry Rainwater and Robert "Elvis" Davidson. Fred was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Candy Morris. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. A Funeral service to honor Fred will be Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the memorial home. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com

I am so sorry for your loss...just saw it tonight or I would've been at the viewing. What a great man fred was...an honor to have his son in my class ...glad I had the honor of connecting with this family. ..you have all been through so much! We love you Fred and Diane and Family!!! We are thinking of you, praying for you, and we want you to know that Fred is one awesome guy!! He IS with the Lord now, and not only is his suffering over, but his eternal life, which began down here, he is enjoying in absolute happiness with the Lord God. We shall see him again!! We love you guys!!

to one of my best friends and the whole family. May God bless you each to try and heal from such a great loss, my heart goes out to you all, it has been a rough year for you all with the losses in this family. some I know and some I have only met but God bless and I love you all. may Butch rest in peace, he fought a hard battle but I guess God needed him more . no more suffering, no more pain, and home with his other family, waiting to welcome him home.
