Knoblauch, Fred J. suddenly, Police Chief of Hometown, cherished friend and husband of 53 years of Pat (nee Nelson), loving father of Lynda (Ed) Janczur, devoted grandfather of Danny, brother of Grace Cyrocki. Funeral Wednesday, 9 a.m., from Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St., to Our Lady of Loretto Church, 8925 S. Kostner for Mass at 10 a.m. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, 1 to 9 p.m. 708-425-0500.

I am soory for you loss. I had known Fred for over 20 years. He was one you could count on to tell you exactly what was on his mind. His heart was in Law Enforcement. He was truly dedicated to the community he served.
