I offer my deepest sympathy and prayers to the family of Mr Heitmann. My memories go back to 1986 when I began my journey with the Lane Bank family and Northwest National Bank. As recently as a few months ago, passing and speaking to Mr Heitmann in the halls at Northbrook, it was remarkable that he remembered me over all of this time. It was always a pleasant interaction when speaking with Mr Heitmann. I felt a void in hearing this news while waiting for him to pass the classroom today at Northbrook. God bless the family and friends of Mr. Heitmann.

Fred will be missed by many. His contibutions to the banking industry will not be forgotten. My travels with Fred thoughout the mountain states to visit State Farm agents left me with many fond memories.

Please accept my deepest sympathy in your loss of Mr. Heitmann. I shared office space with Mr. Heitmann in Northbrook. He was a great man, always friendly and always with a smile on his face. I will surely miss him.
